His old friend, Van Helsing, has invited him to Bellum Letale, but Snow White, who seems to be the only one who can help with the nightmares, is the reason he's decided to stay. Scheherazade, his new confidant in the building, is always there to give advice.

RED LIGHTS dressing room is a multi-fandom community created to help people practice writing their characters in the context of mature and sexual themes. We accept characters from all mediums and settings, including anime and manga, movies and TV-shows, video games and everything else you can think of. Original characters and AU versions can also be played on this community.
Your character finds themselves in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Everything here looks like one giant red-light district, with different streets designed after different countries, cultures and eras. There are modern city streets, old Japanese houses, even old west and Victorian era. And if they're tired of sex establishments, there are other places for entertainment. There is even a park with a lake and a small forest, and a beach some distance away.
Although the exit changes its location sometimes, the characters can leave the town at any time. Once they're back home, they'll forget everything that went on in this town. At some point, however, they might wander back here by accident and remember everything that went on here. Red Lights exists for their pleasure and it won't let them forget that. |

01. No applications required. Just join the community and feel free to post.
02. All posts should be tagged as "canon: [franchise name here]".
03. You must be 18+ years old in order to play in this community. Red Lights is intended for playing characters in a sexual environment and situations. Playing here while underage will get both us and you in trouble. Nobody wants that.
04. This community is a dressing room where people can practice writing. This means that you should expect to run into all kinds of characters, including multiple versions of canon characters, originals or AU versions. Don't be surprised if another player's interpretation differs drastically from yours. If you have any problems with someone's characterization, please contact the player and sort it out politely. Remember that this community is for practice and help others improve.
05. Wank and OOC drama are not acceptable. If you have issues with another player that you cannot work on your own, contact the mods and relay the situation to us. We'll help you as much as we can.
06. Disruptive IC actions such as godmodding or bringing OOC into IC are unacceptable. If you encounter any problems of such nature, contact us with evidence.
07. On the matter of underage characters. Technically, depicting children in fiction is legal and protected by freedom of speech. However, because such portrayals can be disturbing to a large number of people, we strongly recommend that you age up your character to at least the age of 15-16. If you refuse to do so for whatever reason, you will be asked to place an LJ-cut with a warning for explicit content on your post.
08. For that matter, we request that you LJ-cut any post with potentially offensive material and include basic information in the cut text.
09. Respect other players in the community. Keep in mind that because this community deals with sexual content, it may touch onto topics that some people may found personal. Respect others' opinions and wishes, and do not be forceful. Open disrespect of others may get you removed from the community.

The rest of the island's inhabitants, the Ushiromiya family and the guests who had come to stay at the hotel owned by that prestigious family, simply vanished. Police found a portrait with an epitaph beneath it. The scene could only be described as eerie. The police read the epitaph, counted it all up... it couldn't be! It was thirteen. Thirteen people mentioned. Thirteen people dead. The rest vanished. Why? WHY?! To revive a witch? What was this? What happened on the island of Rokkenjima? Who had carried out such crimes? It couldn't be... no... a real witch?!

A seemingly innocent vacation and family conference goes horribly awry as a series of murders is committed in the the stinging rain of a typhoon. That is when a strange letter arrives, declaring that the witch, Beatrice, has come to collect her payments for services due, in blood. Is this really due to a witch?
Characters will come up against the witch and be forced to choose: believe in magic and the witch and thus absolve their fellow humans of all guilt, or deny the witch and condemn themselves to an endless cycle of death and despair. Whichever they choose, their battle has just begun. How long will this game of chess last, and who will be the ultimate victor? What's the truth, you ask? Who is the real culprit, a witch or a human? That is up for you and your character to decide. How about it? Don't you want to join such a fun and interesting game? Kihihihi! This game offers another twist on the original series. In tenthtwilight ALL characters will have a chance to take on the witch in purgatory. Think of it as an endless game of chess will multiple game boards and multiple opponents! Oh yes. The place has similar atmosphere and appearances as Earth, but how would you ever know if it was or not? From there, something happened to their memory. It’s not clear how that happened, either. All you know is there is a little scar, on your neck, right below your hairline. Maybe you had it before. Or maybe, it has nothing to do with your memory. You have no idea.
After you were brought here, and your memory erased, a new one was implanted. Some got a new brother or sister, some got new friends, and some even got new spouses or fiancés. It’s weird, really. You feel like you know them so well, and at the same time, like you don’t know them at all. You have a job, and a place to live. You have a memory of going to school at Harmony High, and parents that have died peacefully. You remember every aspect of this place, because after all, you’ve lived here since you were born.
In addition to all that, from time to time, you’ll get a call from the Doctor’s office. You’ll come in, they’ll give you a supposedly harmless shot, and you’ll be on your way. Strange thing is you’ll start to feel really different after you get that shot.

Welcome to Glaxcin Prison. The Warden hopes you enjoy your stay and you'll find staff devoted to helping you overcome your criminal tendencies and becoming productive members of society. Of course you won't ever see the Prison Warden or Psychologist, at least not physically. Abducted from your home and transported to Glaxcin Prison without warning or any kind of trial, the entire structure is fully automated--meals are prepared, cells are cleaned, sheets are changed--every function operated by an invisible source or force from outside the prison complex. This, of course, is for yours and the Warden's own protection. We wouldn't want to see anyone getting hurt now would we...?
Of course the Warden will hear your requests for personal items such as clothing or jewelry, but any requests for contraband will be strictly denied. Please remember this is for your own safety and personal growth.
We are here to help turn your life around from a world of crime. To make sure you become the best you can be, a structured civilized citizen. But first you have to admit and come to terms with your criminal past and failings. You are all criminals. The sooner you accept it.....

| INTRODUCTION |
Welcome to Glaxcin Prison. The Warden hopes you enjoy your stay and you'll find staff devoted to helping you overcome your criminal tendencies and becoming productive members of society. Of course you won't ever see the Prison Warden or Psychologist, at least not physically. Abducted from your home and transported to Glaxcin Prison without warning or any kind of trial, the entire structure is fully automated--meals are prepared, cells are cleaned, sheets are changed--every function operated by an invisible source or force from outside the prison complex. This, of course, is for yours and the Warden's own protection. We wouldn't want to see anyone getting hurt now would we...?
Of course the Warden will hear your requests for personal items such as clothing or jewelry, but any requests for contraband will be strictly denied. Please remember this is for your own safety and personal growth.
We are here to help turn your life around from a world of crime. To make sure you become the best you can be, a structured civilized citizen. But first you have to admit and come to terms with your criminal past and failings. You are all criminals. The sooner you accept it.....

Apartments For RentVACANT. Monkey: Monkey wants to be king. Barring that, he wants everyone to think he's already one. He's a tenacious trickster, with a sharp tongue and wit to match. He's a lifelong student of martial arts (even if he's not as good as he says he is, he's still pretty good), and he shared a room with Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in school. He's got his eye on the older, attractive The White Snake, because who doesn't want to try to best an old friend in matters of love? Can anyone really capture the heart of a rogue like him, though? Maybe The Wicked Witch?
VACANT. Meg Giry: Meg Giry is a dancer in a very well-known strip joint in New York. It completely clashes with her puritanical upbringing, and her best friend (and secret crush) Christine Daae doesn't quite get it--she also doesn't know that Meg Giry is a lesbian. Meg Giry's noticed The Phantom hanging around the building lately, even if Christine Daae hasn't, and she doesn't like it one bit. Her only confidant in the building is Rose Red, who she is desperately attracted to. She's had a fling or two with several residents, however, including Van Helsing and the Cheshire Cat, and just for fun she's been hanging around a lot with Guinevere. Sure, she doesn't like the woman that way, but it's stirring up some great rumors.

Premise:
There is an apartment building in New York called 'Bellum Letale.' Most people ignore its auspicious name, though they would be advised to pay more attention to its meaning.
It is a strange building.
Every man, woman and child in the building is a reincarnated fable, the stories told to human children for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years. Once very real, the fables began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. They have all been reborn in human forms, though their essence remains, waiting to be awakened at the right time, in the right place.
Now is the time - Bellum Letale is the place. As their lives connect and weave together, as they follow their petty desires and long-held grudges, they are, all of them, on the brink of disaster. Their Landlord knows their every move, and the building they live in seems to have an agenda of its own. People are tortured, people die, people plot behind each other's backs and sneak around and cheat. They love, they fight, they draw blood. This is not the fairy tale you remember being told. |
